Safety Requirements

At my company's smaller size, there are no specific state or local safety requirements which must be met. However, being somewhat of a safety fanatic myself, I can assure you, that whatever State safety standards must be met at the next level, I already meet at this level. Though, my truck, trailer and equipment rolls in at slightly under the D.O.T. threshold of 10,000 lbs. GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating), I am set up with all the compliant safety equipment on board to meet D.O.T requirements for up to 25,000 GVWR. This includes various gear such as larger industrial-grade fire extinguishers, reflective traffic safety essentials and highly-comprehensive first aid kits, to name just a few.
